Mariam’s learning journey through SACR

Meet Mariam, a member of the Ankawa Humanitarian Committee (AHC) team working on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning. Ever since she was a student, Mariam was compelled to help people in need. When ISIS attacked her hometown in #Mosul, she volunteered alongside other youth to provide basic needs like shelter and food baskets to displaced families in #Erbil. Today, Mariam works with the Ankawa Humanitarian Committee, where she and her team are learning new skills through USAID training, workshops, and coaching.
“I hope to be part of AHC’s success and to continue working hand in hand with my colleagues to contribute to my country’s healing process,” said Mariam.
