The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) granted Ankawa Humanitarian Committee (AHC) that serves as the serving hand of Chaldean Archdiocese of Erbil an award of $2.5 million dollars to build the capacities of the organization under the supervision of the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) of the American Catholic Bishops Council, and to support its relief programs for the displaced.This took place in a ceremony of signing the Recognition of Cooperation, between H.E. Chaldean Archbishop Bashar Matti Warda and H.E. the US Consul General, Mr. Rob Waller, at the Archdiocese of Erbil building in Ankawa, today, Thursday, September 24, 2020Keeping in mind, the Ankawa Humanitarian Committee (AHC) with the management of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) continues to distribute a $150 grant to nearly 2,800 displaced families from Nineveh Governorate to Erbil, since the start of the year 2020.
