With the support of Embrace – Middle East (EME) and their continued commitment to partner well-being and capacity strengthening, the Ankawa Humanitarian Committee (AHC) team participated in an enriching retreat in Lebanon aimed at fostering inner peace, teamwork, and professional growth.
The retreat was organized in collaboration with the Leadership and Management Academy and led by trainer Mr. Raymond Khoury, who guided the team through a series of interactive capacity-building sessions. The program included thought-provoking discussions, orientation activities, and a hands-on LEGO® workshop, all designed to enhance communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving within the team.
In addition to the training sessions, the team had the opportunity to explore Lebanon’s natural and cultural heritage. A highlight of the trip was a serene visit to the Cedars of God forest, where participants immersed themselves in the country’s iconic landscape—an experience that renewed their energy and strengthened their collective spirit.
AHC extends its gratitude to Embrace – Middle East for their support and partnership in advancing the organization’s mission through staff development and well-being initiatives.
