About Climate Leaders
The Climate Leaders initiative builds upon the Climate Change Responsive Schools project (CCRS) achievements, aiming to empower students to be leaders in environmental action. Following the success of CCRS, which equipped students with essential skills and knowledge through targeted sessions, Climate Leaders takes a proactive approach to fostering a new generation of environmental advocates.
Capacity Building Session
The project will provide students with capacity-building sessions aimed at developing essential leadership and project management skills, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to plan and execute projects that address environmental challenges in their communities.
Student-led Initiatives
Students will be encouraged to propose and lead initiatives focused on climate change solutions. The most impactful initiative will receive funding for implementation, allowing students to take ownership and lead climate action efforts.
Greening Campaign
The project will offer a greening campaign to combat climate change with the active participation of students. This initiative will involve practical conservation activities, empowering students to make a lasting and positive contribution to their environment.
